Meet our three founders on a mission to make great coffee that everyone loves. They’ve seen how craft coffee can sometimes leave people out in the cold, so they are determined to fire everyone up - from novice to expert - and show that great coffee isn’t some great mystery…

Fireheart Coffee is Paul Tocher, Russell Stinson and Thomas De Garnham and they simply want to make great coffee and simplify it for everyone along the way.

The coffee revolution starts here…

Until a year ago, Paul and Russell knew they liked coffee and that was about as far as it went. But all that changed when they paths crossed with New Zealand coffee expert Thomas De Garnham. Not only has it revolutionised the way they enjoy coffee, it has led to the three setting up Fireheart Coffee together. And they’ve done so during a pandemic – which while it has created its own particular challenges, has also really brought home why great coffee delivered to your home is the way forward!

At Fireheart we talk about Living Coffee as our founding principle. It’s our way of reminding ourselves to always keep things simple while explaining how coffee can go from average to amazing if you understand that it’s a living ingredient.

We source our beans ethically and with complete transparency, paying at least 50% more than Fair Trade rates to make sure that our farmers can make a proper living from their crops. Sourcing Policy

As with all crops, coffee has a harvesting season so we buy ‘living’ beans that are in season at the peak of their taste. We keep them green until the very last moment, then they are roasted and posted within 48 hours so you’ll get the freshest – most alive – flavours in your brew. Our Story
