About the coffee

The inception of Finca la Senda, now run by Arnoldo Pérez Melendez and his wife Maria Eugenia Escobar, dates back to the forties when Arnoldo’s father pioneered the coffee plantation. Fireheart launched with a fantastic washed coffee from La Senda back in 2020, and we’ve since kept in touch with Arnoldo’s daughter Yancy, who looks after logistics, shipping coffee to lucky roasters all over the world. Back for a fifth year running, we're excited to welcome back a favourite with the Black Honey Process.

Seasonal Coffee

Different regions have different harvest times throughout the year, so we buy freshly harvested beans, only when they're ready.

That's why our coffee tastes different—it's still alive with flavour when you drink it.

Roasted to order

Coffee is made to be drunk when the beans are at their peak freshness. It's why we roast to order, pack it and post it.

You'll want to keep coffee in bean form until the past possible minute to get the full flavour.
