About the coffee
With a kick of peach that softens into butterscotch and a warm, smooth ginger finish, our Christmas Brew brings a welcome promise of festive joy. This coffee is produced by three friends and lifelong coffee farmers, Gerardo Calvo, Zaira Marin, and William Mendez, who co-own and manage Finca Frailes in Costa Rica. Cherries are picked, sealed and fermented anaerobically, then sun-dried on raised beds. It’s this process that creates the unique flavour profile of this coffee, not dissimilar to those you would find in a Christmas pudding - except you can’t overindulge in this one!
